Class Homework 1 (Pyramid)

Please read Chapters 3 and 10 of The Pyramid Principle (to be found at the library).

By March 17th, each of you must complete the following tasks here (Please submit only one response that includes answers to both questions. Do not submit multiple responses):

1) Written Response

Answer the following question in a maximum of 1000 characters:

Question: Based on Chapter 3, what are the main components of a perfect abstract in a research paper?

2) Create a Pyramid

Based on Chapter 10, create a pyramid (logical representation) of the abstract in the paper "Change in US state-level public opinion about climate change: 2008–2020". Upload your image (max 1MB) at the form above. The boxes in the pyramid should have full-contained sentences.

Grading Criteria (0-100 scale):

0 points will be given to answers that:
- Contain plagiarism
- Submit someone else's work
- Are submitted late
100 points will be awarded to remarkable written and visual responses.
